Set up in 1971, Patentverwag Italia started
producing cinema and theatre seating featuring
innovative concepts with regards to design
and materials used.
As the range extended to include tiered
seating and the company obtained important
orders, various initiatives began to take
shape in the sports centre fittings sector
that allowed Patentverwag to affirm itself
as the leading company in Italy in its
market.
In the early 1990's, the growing success
in the production of lockers for changing
rooms and prefab panels also led to a
considerable development in the important
sector of changing rooms for factories,
hospitals and communities; the division
dealing with tiered seating developed
into the telescopic grandstand division
receiving orders from Italy and the European
markets for fully motorised installations
with seating capacities for up to 1,500
people.
Patentverwag Italia's success is linked
to the company's dynamism that has characterised
its presence on national and export markets
since it began business.
The constant research into the development
of these highly evolved markets is matched
by the achievement of a quality level
that exceeds even that of the strictest
European standards.
Patentverwag Italia occupies a factory
of 10,000 sq. m., of which 5,000 sq. m.
are covered.
Representing about 15% of production,
the company exports are sent mainly to
North European markets as well as to the
Middle and Far East.
Patentverwag products have been used to
set up over six hundred swimming pools,
more than one thousand sport, factory
and hospital changing rooms, more than
two hundred cinemas, theatres, stadiums
and sports halls and more than one hundred
and thirty manual or motorised grandstands
have been installed.
